American Federation of Aviculture All bird owners need to belong to the A.F.A. The A.F.A. monitors proposed legislation and trys to educate legislature so that the laws do not adversely effect the bird populations or the owners rights to own, breed or ship them. A.F.A. also publishes a beautiful bird bimonthly magazine, has representatives to the CITES committee, and produces beautiful bird artwork.
