The Model Aviculture Program (MAP), is a voluntary industry program designed to provide guidelines for aviculturists to insure humane and healthy treatment and care. It consists of guidelines for proper care, requirements for facility inspection, guidelines for inspecting veterinarians, and report requirements. Aviaries certified by MAP are expected to meet standards set forth, and updated regularly, by the MAP board.   All CBS members are MAP certified.
